The Power-Pipe is one of the most cost-effective energy saving devices for homes, typically lasts for 50+ years, and can substantially increase your effective hot water capacity and/or increase the life of your primary water heater. Note that the larger the Power-Pipe, the more efficient it is and that CSA B55.1 ratings are at a fixed flow rate of 2.5 gpm (9.5 lpm); the actual efficiency is higher with lower flow showers and faucets.

With multiple-parallel freshwater coils, the Power-Pipe is also the most advanced technology. It is also the only technology that is 100% North American copper. We never had and never will cut corners to save a buck. For example, with the Power-Pipe your freshwater will never be in contact with drain pipe plastic.

The Power-Pipe simply replaces a section of your drain pipe that is fed from your primary shower(s). For single residential, you would choose a 2 inch, 3 inch or 4 inch diameter model to match your drain size. Note: the outer diameters for regular drain pipes are about 3/4" larger than their nominal size.
